Hello! My name is Tracy Johnson, the creator of TraceLynn Films!

Thanks to my dad, my love for film started at a young age. Growing up, he constantly had a video camera in his hand filming piano recitals, birthdays, sporting events, dance parties in the living room, holiday gatherings and much more. As we watched each video, I fell in love with the way that film can take a priceless moment and preserve it for a lifetime.

At the age of 10, my next door neighbor and I started making “films” together. Little did I know at the time, those silly films were only the start of my videography journey.

In college my love for film grew as I started filming commercials, proposals, weddings and music videos. Out of all the projects I was filming, weddings became my favorite to capture. I’m now on my 7th year of filming weddings!

After 5 years of filming weddings, I had the privilege of experiencing the day from the other side of the camera, as the bride. Matt is one of the sweetest blessings God has ever given me. He’s my right hand guy when it comes to videography, whether that’s helping me film or figuring out the techie stuff. He worked as a professional videographer while in college and now is a meteorologist.

I am overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to film such meaningful days. I love what I do and strive to create films that are a beautiful reflection of the couple and their story. After my own wedding, I know the joy that comes from getting to relive your day through film, and I want to offer that same joy to all of my couples!

MEANING BEHIND TRACELYNN FILMS: TraceLynn is my dad’s nickname for me. I decided to name my business TraceLynn Films as a small way to say thank you to him for sparking my love for film and teaching me that all moments in life are beautiful and worthy of capturing.
